Ivan Dunov

The Ivan Dunov workshop, formerly located in Bulgaria, produces violins of multiple grades but Kamimoto only carries its highest grade violin, the Superior (Model 402). Crafted from only select woods from the Carpathian Mountains in Eastern Europe, the Dunov Superior 402 models are made in the Dunov workshop and then sent unstained and unvarnished to the United states to where they are varnished in a dark lavish color. The result is a beautiful looking and wonderful sounding violin that creates a pompous sound with European and American craftsmanship. Choice of strings includes Dominant or Thomastik Infeld strings per request.
